Titas trained as a director at the internationally acclaimed Donmar Warehouse on their prestigious Resident Assistant Director Programme. He was Associate Director to Michael Grandage on King Lear starring Derek Jacobi which toured the UK and transferred to Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. He was also assistant director to Jamie Lloyd on Passion by Stephen Sondheim and Polar Bears by Mark Haddon, to David Leveaux on The Late Middle Classes by Simon Gray, and to Jonathan Munby on The Prince of Homburg by Dennis Kelly / Heinrich von Kleist. Titas directed Strindberg's The Dance of Death in a new version by Conor McPherson for the Donmar Trafalgar season, starring Daniel Lapaine, Kevin McNally and Indira Varma.
